Steady Numbers - Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing and using the website of Steady Numbers & Stat Notary Public ("we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

2. Nature of Services (Important Disclaimer)

Not Legal Advice: We are NOT attorneys licensed to practice law in Mississippi or any other state. We cannot give legal advice, draft legal documents, or interpret the law. Nothing on this website or in our communications should be construed as legal advice. If you need legal counsel, please consult an attorney.
Notary Services: Our role as a Notary Public is strictly limited to witnessing signatures and administering oaths as per Mississippi state law.
I-9 Verification: When acting as an Authorized Representative for Form I-9, we are verifying identity documents on behalf of an employer. This is an administrative function, not a notarial act.

3. Intellectual Property The Site and its original content, features, and functionality (including blog posts, images, and service descriptions) are owned by Steady Numbers and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

4. Payment and "Stat" Services

Fees: All fees for mobile notary and bookkeeping services are due as agreed upon at the time of service.
Cancellations: For "Stat" (urgent) after-hours appointments, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if the appointment is cancelled while the notary is already in transit.
Travel Fees: Travel fees are for the convenience of mobile service and are due even if the notarization cannot be completed due to the signer's inability to provide proper ID or willingness to sign.

5. Limitation of Liability In no event shall Steady Numbers, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.

6. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
